Marie Phelan is a multidisciplinary artist who explores themes of identity, memory, and magick. Her practice involves research, audio, sculpture, film, site-specific activations, and drawing.
Marie was awarded the Digital Practice Award by Fire Station Artist Studios, Dublin in 2023. Past exhibitions include the Highlanes Gallery, Drogheda, Co. Louth (2023), Soul Noir Festival, Dublin (2023), 126 Gallery & Studios, Galway (2023); Castletown House, Kildare (2021); and The Lab Gallery, Dublin (2020). She has held live drawing collaborative performances at the RHA, Dublin (2024) , Lab Gallery, Dublin (2024), PS2, Belfast (2023) and the Lab Gallery, Dublin (2024) and was resident at Cill Rialaig Arts Centre, Kerry (2023) and Paragon Studios, Belfast (2022).
Her work has been supported by the Arts Council Ireland, and Carlow Arts Service. She holds an MA in Art and Research Collaboration through IADT.
